Infrabee's proposal for a 16 hectare solar farm in Central Lincolnshire have been approved!

11MW solar farm near Normanby-by-Spital given planning approval

The 11 MW solar farm to the north of Highgate Lane, Normanby-by-Spital will generate enough clean energy to power circa 3,000 homes each year, saving circa 2,620 tonnes of CO2 annually.

The scheme provides for habitat improvements, including the retention and gapping up of boundary hedgerows, new wetland habitat as part of new Sustainable Urban Drainage System (SuDS) features, species rich grassland and scrub planting, all of which result in a 48.33% net gain in habitat units,35.23% net gain in hedgerow units and 10.19% net gain in watercourse units.

Infrabee continues its 100% planning approval success rate, which will make a significant contribution to the UK's net zero ambitions.

Infraland were assisted by DLP who provided expert planning, landscape, drainage and transport advice.

Infrabee's Director of Planning, Hannah Salmon said "We are immensely proud of our planning successes, which are a reflection of the hard work and commitment of the Infrabee team and our various technical advisors."
